eDiscovery & Litigation Support

DDFS manages the full electronically stored information (ESI) lifecycle for legal, regulatory, and compliance matters. From collection and preservation through processing, review, and production, every step is defensible and documented.

ESI Collection & Preservation

We collect electronically stored information from all relevant sources — email servers, file shares, cloud platforms, mobile devices, and workstations — using forensically sound methods that preserve metadata, timestamps, and chain of custody. Our collection process supports litigation holds and is designed to withstand legal challenge.

Cloud Data Extraction

Drawing from our proven engagement model for cloud-based data extraction, DDFS handles complete iCloud, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other cloud platform extractions. Our process includes photo and video extraction with full EXIF and GPS metadata preservation, document and file extraction maintaining original folder structures, contact, calendar, and note synchronization, and post-extraction verification with item counts and integrity checks.

Forensic Preservation for Litigation

When litigation is pending or anticipated, DDFS implements forensic preservation protocols that ensure all relevant data is captured and maintained in its original state. We create forensic images with validated hashes, document our methodology, and maintain unbroken chain of custody throughout.

Cross-Platform Data Extraction

Cases frequently involve data spread across multiple platforms and device types. DDFS extracts and correlates data from iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud services, building a unified picture of user activity across all sources.

Expert Witness Testimony

Our forensic examiners are available to provide expert witness testimony regarding their findings, methodology, and conclusions. We present complex technical evidence in clear, accessible terms that attorneys, judges, and juries can understand.
